Field Notes
Seasonal writings from within The Green Grimoire.
Field Notes are where the written record of the archive takes shape.
They hold observations, seasonal plant studies, workshop reflections, archive updates, and small records gathered as the seasons move.
Some are practical—notes on growth, seed saving, plant relationships, what is flowering, what has faded back, and what has returned unexpectedly.
Some are quieter—a page from the worktable, a passing observation from the garden, a market visit, or a conversation carried home after a workshop.
Together, they become part of a living record.
I am an expert by no means.
I have simply set out to learn, pay attention, and observe more closely.
The Green Grimoire is not built around certainty.
It is built around curiosity, stewardship, and the practice of noticing.
These notes are an invitation to slow down and spend time with a living system that offers us far more than food on our tables, beauty in our gardens, or air to breathe.
A system we are already part of, whether we notice it or not.
