I believe the container was too small, and the heat too much.
The fern remains the least demanding resident of the garden.

June 30, 2026 Sunny is back. Just not the weather. Rocky is blooming while the rest are reaching. The fragrance from the basil patch in the front bed is beginning to waft as we walk by.
Taking the extra moment. Observing the work to be done. Tending to what is truly needed. These lessons can follow us out of the garden just as much as they guide us within .
I'd love to hear what's going on in your garden. I hope this can serve as a sort of show n' tell moment. I'll be posting updates and documenting my journey—not only for myself, but hopefully for anyone else who is just beginning to embark on their own.
